[Hotel] Mode Sathorn Hotel, Bangkok

Mode Sathorn Hotel is by far one of the best hotel I has stayed during my trip in Bangkok ever. Mode Sathorn Hotel is one of the classiest business hotels in Bangkok's city centre; a 'Fashionable Lifestyle' 4-star rated hotel, located on North Sathorn Road, a few steps away from Lumpini Park and Royal Bangkok Sports Club. It is conveniently easy access to many places because BTS Surasak station, is only at outside (at the doorstep of the hotel). The next east station  is Saphan Taksin station, where you can take boat to Asiatique the Riverfront for free. And it's only 3 station away from Siam Square.

Although it is not as crowded like Pratunam area but personally I love somewhere more quite and peace area so I can definitely relax when I'm back to hotel. Besides that, Mode Sathorn Hotel has many entertainment and services provided like basic facilities, spa and three restaurant for you to chill around.

Reached Bangkok about afternoon and I rent a car (Yes! I drive :D ) because the next two days after Bangkok will be HuaHin which is more convenient if have a personal transport. When I reached Mode Sathorn Hotel, I was greeting by super friendly doorbell boy and they're so professional guiding me to the lobby for checking while taking my luggage down from my car. When I get a professional slash "/" friendly services, means the rest is good for me. :)

I love the design of Mode Sathorn; modern, stylish and open-styled. The reception is not like those traditional counter but a big table where you can hang-out there which check-in and the receptionists can speak in a good English. Anyway, just like you know the check-in time is 2pm. You can try to check-in earlier or else you may have hi-tea session at BLD Restaurant or maybe you can drop your luggage at reception area and start your travel journey. This place is really transport friendly where you can book a taxi with no additional charge (make sure to call a meter taxi yea) or taking BTS only few steps outside. Anyway, just to let you know that they're offer one-day trip plan as well. O(∩_∩)O~

If you're not taking massage means you're not coming to Thailand because this is one of their must-do when you're in Thailand. But if you're the lazy one going, Mode Sathorn Hotel does have spa services, 'Borisud Pure Spa' (read my review here), a magic area where to pamper yourself and relax body and mind with the most modern and fine spa therapies and treatments. You can either to do indoor or open-aired where you can enjoy sun-bathed with the services together. :)

Besides that, they do have a gym room for fitness junkies and an infinity pool where you can enjoy the beautiful city view. They also have a mini bar to order some drinks. What's a chill life. *thumb up*

'The Sathorn', a breakfast place where normally you will get a complimentary daily breakfast during booking. I could say this is by far the most beautiful buffet breakfast place in all my hotel stay. I love the interior design, the decoration, ambiance. It's look really modern and my favorites basic black and white sorta of some greyish tones as well makes me feel so good every morning. Let's me tell you a secret, they do have another small area located at the left-hand sided of the lift there, looked like a modern ambiance book store private area. I could say, it's instagram-able.

Speaking about food, it has pretty decent varieties as you can find in most of 4-stared and above hotel such as western breakfast, cereals, pancakes, salad bar, assorted cheese table, fruit platter, bread & toast, yogurt and juices. They do have some local hot dishes like Thai fried rice, Pad thai and more....
By the way, breakfast buffet start at 6.00 am to 10.30 am.

One of the main highlight of Mode Sathorn Hotel is they offer 201 trendsetting and room in 5 categories; Business Studio, Deluxe Mode, Executive Mode, Bedroom Suite and Presidential Suite. Each room categories has comes with different design and themed, feature refined modern amenities especially designed to offer a luxury and relaxing ambiance.

I stayed in Mode Sathorn Hotel for 2 night with a friend and each of us live in different room. During the first night, I was stay in Business Studio and the next night, I was requesting for Deluxe mode and they offered us deluxe rooms in Metropolitan Chic and Multi-Cultural Facet in Eastern style.

Mode Sathorn’s Business Studios have been especially designed for our most demanding business clients, as they are equipped with all the necessary commodities for a comfortable stay in the financial centre of Bangkok. Although is slight smaller comparing with the other room but it's perfect for a business person (can fit up to 2 person) and the interior is beautiful; modern, dimly-lit and cozy.

These 21 square metre studios feature 1 queen bed, wifi internet access, satellite and cable IPTV, 40’’ LED flat screen TV, in-room IDD telephone and an in-room safety box ideal for laptops. The Mode Sathorn Hotel’s Deluxe Mode rooms are located between the 14th and 36th floors of our hotel in Bangkok, offer you stunning views of Bangkok’s skyline. These versatile rooms have a maximum capacity of 3 guests and offer you the choice between the Multicultural Facet in Eastern Style & Western Style, the Metropolitan Chic and the Urban Stylish, so that you enjoy a totally personalized stay.

Metropolitan Chic is romantic room especially for honey moon couple. It's done up in tones of grey and fuschia, looking sweet and not too girl which is acceptable for guys as well. It comes with a King bed, a closet area, vanity table, a small area to chill and the beautiful bathroom.

The bathroom is an open-air styled of concept; with full blur transparent glass windows and a chilling bath tub overlooking the beautiful city. Shower room, toilet and washing area each has separate nicely. Of course, it does have a small tea area for coffee and tea making amenities.

Multi-cultural Facet in Eastern Style is one of Deluxe Mode. The theme is completely different than Metropolitan Style which is something vibe, bright and magnificent. The color tone is definitely more warm tone like yellow, red and brown but I kinda like the style; it's the color that cheer me up.  Anyway, it's remind me of China culture lol.

One of the thing that I definitely want to highlight is the bathroom. Oh my god! I really love the oval bath-tub where I can chill while looking at the beautiful city view with a glass of wine. This is call heaven! By the way, it has those basic amenities and area that I've mentioned above. :)
