[Review] Velvet Matte Lipstick by TheCandySkin in #12 L'Acacia Elegance 水榆

If you're following my Youtube's Channel, then you will know how much I love TheCandySkin products. I've been a loyal fans of this local brand because their makeup was in good quality and has pretty packaging as well. Meanwhile, I believe you guys also heard of this brand in my blog since I blogged two post (here) and (here).

So today I would like into more specific review. I am going to do simple and quick review on their best selling Velvet Matte Lipstick in shade #12 L'Acacia Elegance 水榆. Do allow me to mention again, a BIG THUMB UP for this packaging; sweet romantic with pattern swirl pen shape design lipstick.

#12 L'Acacia Elegance 水榆 is a cool-toned, warm burgundy-red color with semi-matte finish. This color is a solid '50s true red, not too deep nor bright. It gives full opaque. The color stay moderately, likely around only 2 to 3 hours. I have to touch up for more vibrant color. The color is easy get into teeth so always avoid apply too inside. The formula is lightweight, smooth velvety, lightly creamy and glides on without tugging on the lips "unless have dead skins on lips".

I love this lipstick does not contain any fragrance and pretty hydrating when applying. Because it is a pen shape lipstick, so the design allows me to handle and control better during application but one thing should be take attention which is easy to smudge. So to set them in place, you can bloat with a thin slice of tissue paper (separate into layers) or you can continue with compact/loose powder to gives more matte finish. I think this one needs to be applied with a lip brush and over a lip liner to perform well.
