[Review] Covo 3-Free Nail Polish in Maldives

If you're following my blog for some times, then you probably knew that Covo is not strange in my blog anymore. In fact, I also highly recommend this local (Malaysia) brand because Covo was affordable price with good quality. I have tried almost all of the products from Covo and I just love all of them (will share it soonest).

In this post, allow me to share with you one of my favorite color from Covo 3-Free Nail Polish in Maldives. Perhaps you might wondering what means of 3-Free; it means that formulated without 3 harmful ingredient from formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. It's also claimed that is heavily pigmented, glossy and long lasting. I love the formula in this nail polish because one of my favorite nail polish brand, Butter London also using this formula in their polish but the price was double of this. This nail polish just fulfill what my pocket's want.






Frankly speaking, Maldives colors was pretty similar with Dior Vernis in Bird Of Paradise and Illamasqua Viridian. But the color shades of Covo Maldives was in between of them. I want to do comparison of three but my 'principle rules' doesn't allowing me to do so in my blog. So, of you want me to review the rest of two brand, you can drop me an email or comment. :)

The color of Covo Maldives has very interesting of iridescent peacock shades of blue-green color. This color is perfect for summer and fall look. It creates a nice dimensions and fuller nail looks. It also gives a very high-shine glossy finish which I love it so much! *love*

This nail polish gets opaque only in 1 coats but normally I will always go for two coats. It dries up pretty fast but doesn't thicken up. Not only that, what I personally like is very smooth and liquidy but not runny texture. The best part is.... it's only cost me MYR 29 for this such pretty and quality nail polish. Revlon also has quite similar shades of nail lacquer but the price is lost comparing with Covo Madives. Well~ Definitely not promoting, just highly recommend this nail polish because I love it so much, haha.

TO SUM IT ALL TOGETHERCovo 3-Free Nail Polish in Maldives is a pretty iridescent blue-green peacocky color. It's applies smoothly and dries pretty fast. It's opaque only in 1 coats but personally suggest go for 2 coats because it gives a beautiful glossy finish after. Besides that, the formulation of this nail polish is also one of main highlights; free from formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) which are believed to be toxic. For lasting part, personally my nails was pretty good with any types of nail so I couldn't give my point of view. If anyone tried can you tell me about this? :D Lastly, the texture of this nail polish is kinda liquidy but not runny. It also not thicken up into layer when apply too slow. This is the texture that I like the most in nail polish.

PROS: 3-Free (formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP)), smooth application, nice opaque, smelless
